Once upon a time there lived a little girl in a little cabin in the middle of a big forest. The little girl's name was Kayetta and she lived with her poor widow mother. She was tall and thin, with long brown hair up to her waist, big brown eyes, and light peach skin. Everyday her mother would leave to go to work, and Kayetta would stay home all by herself. One day after her mother left, Kayetta sat all alone in her house, looking out the window. Soon Kayetta got bored and went outside. She couldn't go far, since the forest could be very dangerous when you were a little girl out on your own, so Kayetta cautiously took a few steps into the forest.
But soon, she had forgotten all about how dangerous the forest could be, and was happily walking deep into the heart of the forest, when suddenly her mothers voice popped into her mind, telling her yet again the many dangers of the forest. Remembering this, Kayetta quickly turned around, ready to go back home, when she heard a loud sob coming from behind a tree just a few feet away from her. Kayetta, being ever so curious and brave, crept forward to take a look. Behind the tree sat a little girl with small, squinty green eyes, shoulder-length and very scraggly black hair, and very pale skin, giving her the appearance of a small ghost. The girl was crying quietly, with her hands over the bottom half of her face. She looked a lot like a peaky little crow, even her crying sounded like a crows caw. The girl slowly looked up at Kayetta and made a little whimpering sound, then covered her whole face and started crying again. Kayetta sat down next to the little girl, waiting for her to look up again. When she finally did, there was a look of great fear on her face, as if she was looking at a monster. Kayetta smiled sweetly at the little girl and said, "Hey, I'm Kayetta, what's wrong???" The little girl didn't answer. Instead she started crying again, though this time she didn't cover her face with her hands. Kayetta was starting to get annoyed now. As patiently as she could, she asked yet again what was the matter. The girl said in a stuttering and unsure voice, " I-I g-got lost a-and I'm too scared to try a-and find my way back, e-even though I'm p-pretty sure that I know w-where it is..." Kayetta smiled down at her again, and asked politely, " Are you SURE you know where it is?" The little girl nodded and murmured a quiet yes. Kayetta knew she would get in serious trouble if her mom knew what she was doing,but she wanted to help this little girl get home, so she offered to bring her home. For a second, Kayetta thought she saw a smirk on the girls face, but a second later it was replaced by a huge grin. The little girl got up and, beckoning to Kayetta to follow, hurried into a huge group of trees. After about an hour, Kayetta and the girl got to a tiny cabin the size of a tiny closet. The girl asked Kayetta to come in, and Kayetta, even though the cabin was very small and dirty looking, happily agreed.
Kayetta stepped into the cabin and gave a little scream. The inside of this cabin was the size of a million mansions put together! There were old dust covered furniture and pictures on the walls all covered in spider webs. It was dark inside except for a tiny candle with a strange green flame. The whole house looked empty and deserted. An eerie, scared feeling erupted in Kayetta and she quickly spun around to see where the girl was. The girl was no where to be seen, and the door was shut and locked tight. Strange, startling noises suddenly filled the air, and a loud cackling sound appeared. The room started to get cloudy, but in a second everything was as clear as ever. Except for one thing. The candle had gone out. Kayetta was trapped in a strange, dark house in the middle of the forest, all alone. And slowly a misty figure appeared out of the middle of nowhere, walking towards her...
Kayetta stood transfixed in the dark room, staring at the misty figure walking towards her. She could barely see it, but she was sure that it was a tall man wearing a large black cape, and it was reaching out for Kayetta. Kayetta suddenly started running away. The little cabin seemed to go on forever! She had no clue where she was going, and when she finally stopped she found herself in a large bathroom.
In the bathroom was a large, welcoming bathtub filled to the brim with warm water. Kayetta suddenly got a paralyzing feeling, and slowly walked towards the tub. She stepped into the water and the feeling was over. Kayetta didn't know what had happened to her, and she began to climb out of the bathtub, but suddenly the edges of the bathtub grew taller and taller until they reached the ceiling and stuck to it like glue. Kayetta screamed in the darkness of the bathtub and struggled for a way out. Suddenly the shower came on and a downpour of burning hot water came down on Kayetta. Kayetta screamed again and groped around for the handle to turn the shower off, but she couldn't find it. Just then a light appeared in the bathtub from a hidden source, and, to Kayetta's amazement, [and fear] there was no handle!!!! Kayetta began to panic. She was burning up in the hot water and there was no way out of the bathtub! Just as she was about to start crying in despair, Kayetta noticed some dusty cracks perfect to climb up leading straight to the ceiling. Without a moments hesitation Kayetta began to climb upwards. Just as she was about to reach the top, the bathtub sides came crashing down again, and Kayetta fell with a loud THUD in the tub full of steaming hot water. Kayetta yelped in pain and leaped up. Her clothing and hair were both soaked, but she was alive. Kayetta suddenly heard a hideous laughing noise behind her and saw a huge black monster grinning at her in a evil way. Kayetta bolted without looking back, and as she hurried out the door, the door disappeared and dissolved into another piece of the wall...
Kayetta looked around in bewilderment. She was in a dark tunnel that curved around and around. It seemed to be getting darker and darker, so Kayetta ran on, curve after curve, until she finally appeared in a even darker room with a small bared window in the appearance of a prison. In the room stood the tall man in a black cape, but he was no longer a misty figure. He had his back to Kayetta so she couldn't see his face, but she still got shivers when she stared at him. Kayetta bravely tiptoed closer to the man. Suddenly the man began to laugh, a long hideous laugh. Kayetta jumped back, but the heavy metal door behind her shut tight with a loud bang. The man turned around and laughed even harder. Kayetta gasped loudly and backed away. The mans face was still hidden in shadow, so she couldn't see it, though this wasn't that much of a relieve. The man laughed again and Kayetta suddenly began to scream......and then she everything turned black and she collapsed...
Kayetta opened her eyes and stared up into the dark. Sitting up, she saw the room again with its tiny window. The man was still standing by the window with his back to her. Kayetta looked around and suddenly realized all that had happened. And when she stood up she was surprised to find herself dressed in a long black dress. Her hair was long and dark, and she was very tall. It took her a moment to realize what had happened. She was a woman, a woman ghost. Suddenly the tall man in front of her started to disappear into air, for he was only a mist himself, a ghost. He was soon gone, and Kayetta stepped forward to keep his place by the window. Looking down she saw a old woman crying below the mansion, crying and calling a name, a very familiar name... "Kayetta".......

Death Mansion

It's time for summer vacation, and you are visiting your grandma in her big old mansion for a week. When you arrive at your grandma's house, your parents give you a goodbye hug and you walk up to the front door with your grandma. As you tug the door open, it gives a protesting squeak and creaks open. Inside you see a bunch of antiqued furniture. looking back, you see your parents driving away.
You walk into the mansion and look around. No lights were on, and a dark mist surrounds you. Shaking slightly, you stare at the pictures on the walls. One man in the pictures had huge yellow eyes that seemed to follow you where ever you go. Looking out of the dusty windows, you see a graveyard surrounded by dead tees and rotting skeletons. A foggy swamp surrounds the graveyard and house on three sides. You suddenly wish you hadn't come after all. Your grandma whispers in a hoarse and spooky voice, "Come walk in the graveyard with me, but keep quiet, or you might wake the dead..." you shudder, and manage to sputter out, "um, i don't know..." "You can go upstairs and explore, if you don't die first..." replies your grandma with a small laugh.

You decide to go with your grandma to the graveyard. As you walk out the door, a strange odor fills the air. The door slams shut and locks up tight. You suddenly feel queasy. You look around, but your grandma is no where in sight. Sense you can't go back into the house, you take a walk in the graveyard. Just then, you see a door open in the side of the mansion.

You decide to go upstairs. As you run up the creaky old stairs, your grandma gives a loud shriek and screams goodbye. You wonder if she meant.. no, she couldn't have, its just upstairs...When you arrive on the second floor, you see two straight rows of doors, all of them shut. Then you see a door with your name engraved in it. This must be my room, you think.

You decide to walk through the door. As soon as you go through, the door disappears behind you, leaving you trapped inside with no escape. Looking around, you see bare black walls with splotch's of blood on them surrounding you. Suddenly, a huge, black door appears about 10 feet away. The walls start closing in on you fast. You quickly run towards the door, and finally reaches it. Tugging it open, you just make it outside. You are in a dense forest, surrounded on all sides by a huge, murky lake. Alligators are crawling towards you, snapping their jaws, and the black door is nowhere to be seen. You back away from the alligators. Suddenly, your grandma appears beside you. Cackling, she murmurs, "Great, my lunch is finally ready," and reaches out to grab you. You back away, and slips from the slippery ground right into the water with a splash. You here your grandma screaming, and smiles despite your condition. Then everything went black...

You decide to keep walking in the graveyard. As you walk pass a huge comb stone, bony skeleton hands shoot out of the ground and reaches out to get you. You scream and leap back, terrified. Just then a black cat leaps out and pounces on the hands, which shrank back into the ground. You stare at the cat as it purrs softly and motions for you to follow it.

You decide to go explore. You go up to the door nearest to you and pulls it open. Walking in, you look right into a bare white room. Suddenly, a bright beam of light shoots out towards you. Quickly, you run out and slams the door shut before you can get blinded. You go through the next door and you see huge bears. The door disappears behind you and you scream in horror. Closing your eyes, you feel a bear scratch you hard with it's sharp claws, and feel the warm blood trickling down your cheek. When you finally open your eyes again, you find yourself back outside the door. The third door leads to a tremendous mirror. You look at your reflection and see the huge scratch mark on your cheek. You watch the blood slowly drip to the floor. As you turn to go, your reflection steps out of the mirror and suddenly theirs two of you. You turn to run, but the door was not there. Sighing, you mumble, "This is REALLY getting old.. fast." The other you laughs and disappears, leaving you trapped.. AGAIN.

They look down at you with concern and say, "Are you alright?" You nod and wonder what was going on. You were dead, sunken deep in the lake...RIGHT? Suddenly the phone rings and your mom hurries away. When she came back, she had a somber look on her face. "Your grandma just died." she says to you. You smile silently. The old witch was gone at last. everything was great, sense you finally reached...

You follow the black cat, running hard in the chilly day. Just as you were getting tired, a white cat appears from behind a bush and pounces on the black cat. The black cat turns into a witch, and the white cat leaps onto her head, hissing and scratching. "Get off me head, you mangy cat!" screamed the witch. The white cat suddenly spoke loud and clear, " Quick, grab the wand from the witch's pocket!" You grab the wand and the cat jumps off the witch's head, turning into a beautiful princess in a silk dress. Grabbing the wand, she gives it a slight wave and the witch turns into a scrawny mouse, skittering away quickly.

You are stuck in a room where your reflection had just stepped out of the mirror and disappeared. Just as you were getting desperate, a huge coffin appears behind you, and your reflection appears in front of you. Behind the reflection was the door. You try to run towards it, but your reflection catches you and pushes you down. Grinning, it points to the coffin behind you, and you see the name in graved in it, your name! Then you see your birth date and death date.. Today! You struggle towards the door again, but the reflection tosses you into the coffin and the lid slams shut. You hear the lock turn and feel a bunch of spiders crawling up your body. The lid won't budge. You're trapped forever. You're DEAD, which brings you to...

The princess looks at you calmly and murmurs, "Give me the wand or I'll push you off the cliff," but you notice the princesses disadvantage. You could have easily pushed her off the cliff yourself, she was so thin and bony. You wander if you should push her off the cliff or give her the wand and beg for help.

Sasha [cont]
Sasha could have hawled somemore when she saw where she was. It was the darkest, smallest house in all the others. The salls were lined with pictures of police and one word beneath it. Sasha couldn't read it, but she could spell it. B-e-w-a-r-e. Beware of police? Thought Sasha. Why? Sasha had seen police before, when she was a puppy. They seemed nice to her. Her favouite had gave her a treat. Just then, the man grabed Sasha and threw her into the closet. Sasha heard the lock turn, and started to hawl some more. "Shut up, you dumb mutt! Someone will hear you and come to complain, and when they see who I am... Never mind. You can't understand antways." Sasha cocked her head to one side. She didn't understand at all. Sighing, Sasha settled down on the stind socks and fell asleep, dreaming of thenice police, and puzzling over the man.
The next morning, Sasha found herself in a box filled with stinky socks. Sasha found it easy to leap out. Growling suddenly, she smelled the scent of burned bones, dog bones. The man came itto sight and sneerered. "If you're not good, I'll burn you, too!", Just like Max, my last dog!" Sasha suddered. As soon as the man went out, Sasha hopped onto the tableand stepped on a picture frame with a picture of the man in it, sending it flying out the open window. Sasha smiled and hopped of the desk and onto the snowy ground. A shiver of coldness tickled Sasha's spine, but she dinn't care. With a howl, she started running and shoutting, "I'm free!" Sasha ran as far as she could, out of town, and endded at the of a forest. Lookingback, she saw the last garbage of town, and happily invaded it. Sasha sat staring up at the sky, and remembered the police man she had seen. As a puppy, Sasha had lost her motber and father and brothers and
sisters. The police wanted to take Sasha name, when the shootting started. Sasha was so frightened of the fight that sge gad ryb a way without looking back. That was also how she got her name.
The police had said she should be named Sasha. And she had kept it to her, now Sasha missed the police, and wished that she had stayed. Then she would nave a home. Sasha sighted and crawled up on the warm grass and went to sleep.
Shsha woke bythe sound of men talking. "Hey, isn't this Sasha?" "It must be. Let's take her to the police station." Sasha opened one sleepy eye and gasped. The police man! There were two, her faverite one and one they called Tim. Sasha jumped up to lick them both." Heym Sasha! Nice seeing you again! Where have you been?! Iwish dogs could thlk!!" . "Me too." Said Tim. " Come on Fred, let's get her into the police car. Maybe see could be our tracker!" "Yah, maybe. Come on, Sasha." Sasha closed her eyes again, knowing that she was safe.
When Sasha woke up, she was in a cage, Looking up, she saw Fred looking down at her. "Hey, Sasha, I'm aloud to train you for tracking. Let's start right now with Tim and Jacob. "maybe Sasha can sniff him out for us." Said Fred. " Maybe." Saud Habe, Turning to leave, Jane said, "But just maybe." Fred mumbled to himself something Sasha heard and understood." But I'm sure she can doit."
A short while later, Fred and another man enterned. "This is Ken," whisped Fred. "Sasha?" Asked Ken. Fred nodded. Ken smilled. " your idea sound s perfect, Fred." And the n Ken left. Fred smiled at Sasha. "Well, heres your chance!"
Sasha stared at the framed picture of 'The Man.' "Find, Sasha." urged Fred. Sasha didn't need to smell, but she did aryways. The foul smell of the man filled. Sasha's nostrils. "Find, Sasha." Fred said again. Sasha took off, heading in the derection of The man's house.
Sasha led them to the back and gave them the matching framed picture, the she ran to the front door and pawed at it." So this is where he lives, huh." Very shlwly, he walked towards the door. "Come on, Tim Jacob." They all backed away. Jane grabbed hold of Sasha, and Tim, Jabob and Fred knocked open the large door. Just then, a gun poked out of the window and shat Fred in the arm. Sasha struggled free, and charged in, surprising, 'The Man', fiving Tim the chanse to shoot him.
Back at the police station, 'The man' was arestted. "Sasha's one brave dog." Said Jane. Ken nodded. "Shes our offical tracker." Tim smiled. "Good thing Fred's okay."
At the hospital, Fred was restting his arm with Sasha sitting at his side!! You know, Sasha. You are one great dog." Sasha barked her agreement and Snaggled up close to Fred, because she knew that she was at home at last.
The next morning, Sasha found herself in a box filled with stinky socks. Sasha found it easy to leap out. Growling suddenly, she smelled the scent of burned bones, dog bones. The man came itto sight and sneerered. "If you're not good, I'll burn you, too!", Just like Max, my last dog!" Sasha suddered. As soon as the man went out, Sasha hopped onto the tableand stepped on a picture frame with a picture of the man in it, sending it flying out the open window. Sasha smiled and hopped of the desk and onto the snowy ground. A shiver of coldness tickled Sasha's spine, but she dinn't care. With a howl, she started running and shoutting, "I'm free!" Sasha ran as far as she could, out of town, and endded at the of a forest. Lookingback, she saw the last garbage of town, and happily invaded it. Sasha sat staring up at the sky, and remembered the police man she had seen. As a puppy, Sasha had lost her motber and father and brothers and
sisters. The police wanted to take Sasha name, when the shootting started. Sasha was so frightened of the fight that sge gad ryb a way without looking back. That was also how she got her name.
The police had said she should be named Sasha. And she had kept it to her, now Sasha missed the police, and wished that she had stayed. Then she would nave a home. Sasha sighted and crawled up on the warm grass and went to sleep.
Shsha woke bythe sound of men talking. "Hey, isn't this Sasha?" "It must be. Let's take her to the police station." Sasha opened one sleepy eye and gasped. The police man! There were two, her faverite one and one they called Tim. Sasha jumped up to lick them both." Heym Sasha! Nice seeing you again! Where have you been?! Iwish dogs could thlk!!" . "Me too." Said Tim. " Come on Fred, let's get her into the police car. Maybe see could be our tracker!" "Yah, maybe. Come on, Sasha." Sasha closed her eyes again, knowing that she was safe.

Sasha
Howling miserable in the cold snow, a beagle sat staring at the warmth of the houses surrounding her. I better start going, thought Sasha, the dog. Getting up, Sasha was about to leave, when she heard the crunch of footsteps and smelled human scent coming towards her. Waiting a couple of minutes, Sasha stood again. I guess they didn't see me. I better go. Taking a couple steps at a time,Sasha hurried along, but suddenly, she jumped back. She had hit some thing! Startled, Sasha looked up, and right into the eyes of a fierce looking man, the man stooped down and picked up the pup. He mumbled something. Sasha had heard a few words,but not much. Crime, track dog, murder. Sasha listened carefully, but she didn't get what he meant.

Lily [Afterward]
Lily was at home at last. With her new owner, Mrs. Teanise, Lily was as happy as ever, and the best part was that she had found both her brothers!!! They had somehow survived the Sabertons fire, and were happily living with Mrs. Teanise and Lily. That is what I call a happy ending!!!!
Lily [cont] chapter 10 Home At Last
Lily walked away from the place her mother had been with a heavy heart. Just as she was about to burst into tears, another shot sounded, and she fell to ground. Five minutes later, Lily opened her eyes again. She could hear footsteps coming closer and closer... then she fainted dead away.
Lily woke up and stared right into the face of a old woman. '' Oh, thank god you're okay. I was so worried... never mind that now. I'll go get you some food. " Lily looked around her in astonishment. Lily [cont] chapter 9 Shot
Lily woke up to see the shadow of her mother coming closer and closer. Oh, good! thought Lily. Shes coming home! Lily sat patiently, watching Tessie. Suddenly, a noise as loud as thunder rang out. Tessie fell to the ground, and Lily gasped. A huge man stepped out from behind a tree and grabbed Tessie around the neck. The Man had a shotgun still smoking in his hands. Lily wondered what was going to happen to Tessie, as the man carried her away. Lily hurried to where the man had left, but he was gone, and Tessie was gone forever.

Tessie began to tell the story of why she had left Lily all alone in the woods for so long :
" I knew of a dump where we could get lots of food, so I went to get us some dinner, but half-way there, I got caught by some men in a big blue truck. They were dog catchers, and I want you to watch out for them, okay? They're very close by. They brought me and some other dogs to a room with lots of cages. The next day, someone came to adopt me, but as soon as I was out of the room, they called it the pound, I ran away. When I couldn't find you, I got desperate and decided to live at the dump. I was just comeing here for a walk when I happened to find you. "
Lily told her mom everything that happened to her. Tessy told Lily to stay, then went back to the dump to get more food. Lily hoped that this time she'll manage to come back.

Lily [cont] chapter 7 Tessy
Lily was near death, not being able to move herself. She had fallen into a ditch, river and trap the past two days, plus hadn't eaten a bite. Lily was desperate. Just as she was about to faint, a brown and white colored dog ran over to her, sniffing at her and barking excitedly. Lily couldn't see clearly, but she knew right away who it was. It was Tessie!!! Lily opened her mouth to bark, but she was to weak. Seeing how hungry and thirsty Lily was, Tessie pushed a wiener into Lily's mouth. Lily gulped the food down gratefully, then fainted dead away.
The next morning when Lily woke up, their was another wiener next to her and a broken jug of water. Lily hurriedly ate up all her food, then looked around for Tessie. Tessie was eating her own wiener under a big apple tree that Lily hadn't noticed before. Tessie smiled at Lily and said, " Want a apple? " Lily nodded eagerly, watching as Tessie leaped up and grabbed a apple. Lily gobbled down the apple, then asked Tessie why she never came back. Tessy smiled and the story began.

Lily [cont] chapter 6 The Fight
Lily ducked behind a tree branch and watched as the two wolves backed Penquilla down. The fight had been going on for about 30 minutes already, and it wasn't going well for Penquilla. Penquilla suddenly jumped up and attacked one of the wolves. She grabbed him by the neck and wrestled him up the mountain, then she pushed him down with a mighty growl, and leaped up, howling fiercely. The other wolf took that moment to attack. He jumped into Penquilla and watched as she tumbled ten feet down, struggling to stop herself, then finally fall to the ground. When he saw that she was dead, he laughed loudly and cried out, " I'm the new leader! " Just then he saw that the other wolf, his partner, was still just barely alive, and he sneered and said, " Lets go up the mountain. " Then when he saw that the other wolves were heading up the mountain and couldn't see him, he leaped onto his partner and killed him. Lily gasped and the wolf looked up, smirking. " Oh, look! " He cried out to his pack. " Its the little lady Penquilla picked up. '' All the wolves looked at Lily and grinned slyly. Lily turned and hurried away, but she didn't get far. The wolf leader screamed out, " Wait, you MUTT! I didn't say you could go yet. You have been rewarded to be one of our foods tonight, alone with Penquilla and my dear partner here. Then we'll go catch as many rabbits as we can, a few deer, some moose, and a whole bunch of goats! We'll steal the farmers pigs and even the cows and chickens! Then we'll take all the food up to the tip of the mountain and have a feast! Let the fun and games begin!!! "
Everyone cheered. They didn't even realize they couldn't carry all the food up the mountain, but Lily didn't care. She shot off like a rocket, with no one noticing her at all.

Lily [cont] chapter 5 In Danger
Lily was now a member of the wolf pack, but if she had known what dangers they would have to face, she would have said no. Penquilla and her pack led Lily through the forest, around towns, through more forests, and finally to the bottom of a snowy mountain. The journey had taken three days, and the whole pack were grumpy with hunger. The worst was Lily. She had fainted ten times already, and couldn't go on much longer. Now the pack and Penquilla were making her climb up the mountain with them. " We'll find food up there. " Penquilla grunted as she struggled to get up onto a high ledge. " Delicious mountain goats. '' Lily was aghast. " You mean we have to hunt!? " She cried. Penquilla grinned. "Of course! Come on already!!! " Lily scurried up as high as she could, then she looked down the mountain. " Are you sure this is safe? " she whimpered. Penquilla laughed. " If you can't climb up this little hill, then you're not fit even to be a mouse, you mutt!!! " Lily started to cry. '' But its not a little hill! Its millions of feet high! " Penquilla ignored Lily. As Lily started to turn back, she tumbled into a big rock. Penquilla gave a dark, cruel laugh. Some of the wolves started to nip at Lily. Wincing in pain, Lily managed to sit up. " Get going, or we'll kill you, " Penquilla growled, reminding Lily of the doberman in the hut. Lily steadied herself. She was only a few feet off the ground. She could leave. Lily slowly turned to go, but Penquilla caught Lily and bit her on her back leg. '' No one leaves the pack! " she roared, but then she grinned. "Change of direction. We're going into the forest. I feel like getting some deer and rabbits. Maybe a moose would be good, too. " The wolves all growled and complained, but Penquilla won't take no for a answer. "I can do with a wolf meal, too. " she added. The wolves quieted down, all except two. Grinning, they said in raspy voices, " Bring it on. "

Lily woke up with a start. She thought she had heard a wolf howling. Lily sat up and looked around her.

she cried out in alarm. Lily was in a dark forest filled with wild animals. Lily was no longer in Samoyed mansion. She felt lost and lonely and wondered what to do next. Lily sat there thinking for almost an hour when she suddenly realized that Samoyed mansion had to have been a dream. Just as Lily was about to go look for food, she heard the howling of wolves again. Lily couldn't help herself. She sat up tall and howled up at the night sky.
" AWOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!! "
The sound traveled long and far. When it ended, Lily gasped in shock. Was that me!? she wondered. could I have really howled like that? Lily sat still for a minute, then went back to sleep. A elegant and old Samoyed stepped out. She smiled down at Lily. " You will find a surprise inside. " The Samoyed's stepped aside and Lily could see a light blue room. " Thank you, '' Lily said with a sigh. Its not much of a surprise, she thought. Suddenly, a blur of brown and white shot out of the door. Lily gasped in astonishment. It was a beautiful dog. Lily [cont] chapter 2 Lily's new home
Sitting silently in the snow, Lily wondered what to do. Before she knew it, she was fast asleep.

Opening her eyes, Lily stared into the darkness of a wooden hut filled with dirt, fur, rocks and other dogs.She wondered how she got there. A broken rocking chair lay in a dark corner. Big, scary dogs looked down at Lily,growling. Lily shuddered, then backed away. Beside the rocking chair, a big doberman leaped up. "If you want to live, then run away, RUNT!" it growled darkly. Without looking back, Lily ran. She didn't care how she got there anymore, she just wanted to leave. Behind her she heard the laughter of the other dogs. When Lily finally did look back, she saw a beautiful Samoyed smiling pleasantly at her. "Hello, are you lost? I saw you running, so I followed you! We ran a long way!"The Samoyed said. Lily looked around at the unfamiliar surroundings in surprise. she really was lost. "Shouldn't you be going back to your owners?" Lily asked. "Owners? I don't have any owners. " The Samoyed replied. "I run free." The Samoyed gave a secretive grin. "well, I'm sort of like the owner.I used to have a owner who breeded Samoyed's, but when he died, all the Samoyed's he breeded escaped. Sense I wasn't his breeder dog, I was his pet, I'm now the leader of the pack of Samoyed's. We all live in a abandoned mansion. Would you like to come live with me and all my Samoyed friends at the mansion? my names Silver, by the way. " Lily smiled and nodded, happy to have found a friend at last. "and my names Lily " Lily said happily. Two hours later, they arrived outside a big Mansion. Two Samoyed's stood guard at the door. "Hello, Princess Silver!" They chanted, Silver laughed, "You can't have to call me princess! Silver would be good. Hello, Max and Prince!" silver turned to Lily. "These two are new Samoyed's we found." Just then, two Samoyed's came out. The first one sneered when she saw Lily. " Another Mutt?" She asked. Then she walked away, laughing. The second Samoyed came running after the first. "Wait, star!" She cried, "Play with me!" The second one was just a pup. Lily smiled. Silver sighed. "Star is a threat to us all. Sparkle, the pup, is always in danger of star. Star always makes sparkle do stuff that will get her in trouble. And sparkle doesn't know any better. I'd better go after them. And Silver raced off, forgetting all about Lily.

Lily
It was cold in the Saberton's barn. Tessie, a collie, was giving birth to puppies. That night was the coldest that winter in Bennettsville. Tessie's puppies, two males and one female, were named Flash, Spike and Lily.
The Saberton's had decided to sell the puppies for money, because they were very poor.
A month later, the day before the puppies were to be sold, a big fire burned down the Saberton's house. Everyone died except for Lily and her mother.
Tessie brought Lily into the dark, cold forest surrounding the Saberton's house on three sides. she told lassie to stay, and then hurried off. She never returned. Lily stayed till she nearly froze, then she left. she hadn't eaten for two days and was starving. WOULD SHE MAKE IT?
